The Clinical Effect of Haenggan and Taechung on Low Back Pain caused by Iliopsoas Muscle Disorder

Abstract

|
|
Object: This study is designed to find out the influence of selecting an acupuncture point for the effective acupuncture therapy.
Subject: 45 patients with low back pain caused by iliopsoas muscle disorder were divided into 2 groups; 22 samples and 23 controls.
Methods: Control group took usual acupuncture therapies and sample group took acupuncture therapies at Haenggan(Liv.2) and Taechung (Liv.3) through the etiological analysis. Concluding the result, we studied Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) score statistically.
Result and conclusion: In this study, we found that acupuncture therapies through the etiological analysis is more effective than usual acupuncture therapies on pain spot.
